Review: Mind Readers by Lori Brighton Cameron has hidden her secret her whole life, but everything changes when she meets Lewis. He shares her secret and offers to tech her the truth- but is that what he really wants? This book started off and ended very similarly. It made the book feel complete. This is an excellent example how to craft the beginning and ending to leave a reader happy. In both instances, Cameron is telling the reader about her crappy ability, but the ending is more of a hint to what will come. It worked perfectly. Review : Forbidden Mind by Kimberly Kinrade Sam has been waiting her time to turn eighteen and get away from the establishment that has been raising her and renting her out to rich people that need someone that can read minds. Unfortunately, freedom is an empty promise at the facility. This was a good paced book. Everything read really quickly. I think the biggest downfall of this book was that it was over. I felt like there was so much more that needed to be told. I would have liked more put into the story (but that is what sequels are for these days). Compared to some of the books I have read...

Review: The Ultimate Sacrifice by Talia Jager Kassia has a special gift: she can kill people with her mind. While she tries to accept the most feared gift, Kassia finds herself on the run with her close friends that are also gifted in other ways. Review: Redemption by RK Ryals Dayton lives with her aunt- a strict nun at a nunnery. Little does she know that due to her parents, her life is not of her own. There are expectations and sacrifices she is expect to make. Only Day can decide if that is what she wants, or can she? The only downfall of this book was that it took a bit to get to the main plot of the story for me. Once you get into the action and the secret society, it is much quicker. Review : The Emerald Talisman by Brenda Pandos Julia makes a quick decision how to get home after her car runs out of gas. That choice to cut through the woods changes everything and throws her into a world of vampires.
