Review: The Queen of Attolia and the King of Attolia by Megan Whalen Turner Eugenides returns to Attolia to continue to harass the queen, yet finds somehow he has been betrayed. He ends up caught and given the punishment of a thief- the loss of his right hand. As war looms on the horizon, Eugenides plays his hand at resuming his role as a thief. (sorry- I couldn’t resist the pun) He is rewarded by the end of the Queen of Attolia by getting the outcome he hoped for only to seem that it might not have been everything he wished going into the next book The King of Attolia. Review : Sacred Bloodlines by Wendy Owens Gabe’s life has always been bad… bad things… evil things have always happened to those around him. In fact he is a bit of a magnet for evil. Review: The Thief by Megan Whalen Turner Extracted from prison, Gen is a thief (a very good one) that is expect to help the king of Sounis get Hamiathes’s gift, so that the king can claim the throne of Eddis. Gen is known for his great skills and bad decisions but he is the perfect tool for the king to use on his quest. So along with the king’s magnus, two apprentices, and one guard, Gen attempts the impossible- steal Hamiathes’s gift- a stone from the gods. At first I found this book a bit confusing. There are huge gaping holes everywhere and you are left wondering what is going on....

Review : The Emerald Talisman by Brenda Pandos Julia makes a quick decision how to get home after her car runs out of gas. That choice to cut through the woods changes everything and throws her into a world of vampires.
