Julia makes a quick decision how to get home after her car runs out of gas. That choice to cut through the woods changes everything and throws her into a world of vampires. Lucky for her, even though she is a vampire magnet she has her own guardian, Nicholas, who does his best to keep her alive.
I tried to like the main character, but found time and time again she was making bad decisions. She kept interfering and getting herself into trouble and thus I could not feel empathy towards her. Now Nicholas was much easier to like, along with Phil- until he was bit but even then he wasn’t too bad also.
I would say if you are still a fan of the vampire craze, this was an okay book to read.
