Review: Destiny Binds by Tammy Blackwell

Review : Destiny Binds by Tammy Blackwell

Scout finds that there are secrets being kept from her by everyone she thinks are her closest friends – her best friend Tally, her brother Jase, her friend Charlie, and now Alex, the new kid in school. Little does she know that they are all keeping the same secret: a world of shifters, where men can turn into animals and seers can communicate with them. Without trying, she is pulled into the world as both Alex and Charlie vie for her affection. Unfortunately for Scout, she loves them both and must make a decision.

These were all very interesting realistic characters. The author brought you into the world, and it felt like you knew the characters personally. They stayed true to their own character, and you never felt they were doing something just to push the plot forward. This book followed the now somewhat overused plot of new boy in school that main character falls for. I have seen this done many times in books and most of the time it is a turn off, but the writing of this book was so well done, I was able to overlook that downfall.

I would recommend this book to anyone that is a fan of the YA paranormal romance books.
