Week’s Reads: Kiss of Fire and Eyes of Ember by Rebecca Ethington

Kiss of Fire by Rebecca Ethington Fun, action-packed read. This book does not slow down once the pace picks up. The beginning is sweet and you fall for Ryland immediately. He is just so caring (but I really prefer Ilyan). You get the feeling that he knows more than he lets on, but also guys are just like that- don’t speak much. When things start to change and the action get going, be prepared to not want to set the book down! You have to find out what happens next…… really fun book and greatly recommended.     Eyes of Ember by Rebecca Ethington I just had to go onto the second book...

Week’s Reads: Paranormal Public and Elemental Rising by Maddy Edwards

Review: Paranormal Public by Maddy Edwards I can’t put my finger on it but I like this book- I was not overly liking the main character or her friends, but there was just something about this book that kept me reading. By the end of the book I like all the characters and found it was a decent book- I just cannot describe why. I did find myself wanting to put this book down with to begin with. It just didn’t draw me into the story, but once I got into it enough, I liked the book. I like Edwards...

Week’s Reads: The Ballad of Aramei by JA Redmerski and The Acropolis by RK Ryals

Review: The Ballad of Aramei by JA Redmerski We jump back into the story of Adria. She is adjusting to her new life as the threat of an enemy lies within the Mayfair household. Not only do they need to find the dark Praverian before they kill anyone, Adria also has to deal with not doing exactly what the ‘good’ Praverians want her to do when she listens to Aramei and defies Isaac’s father. I like that Adria does not do what is expected of her. She even stands up to Isaac’s alpha dominant father. It is nice to see she does what she thinks is right. Now there were a few points I was wondering why she...
